BYAM is proud to support Havens Hospices charity event

Havens Hospices provides palliative nursing and supportive care to adults and children living with complex or incurable conditions.

How BYAM supported Havens Hospices
The Hares About Town was a spectacular public event in Southend on Sea in Essex, which ran throughout the summer of 2021 for people to explore and enjoy 30 amazing Hare sculptures, each one having been individually designed and painted by an artist.

The project was a huge undertaking for Havens Hospices and funds were raised by way of Company sponsorship for the Hares on show during the campaign, followed by a Grand Auction of them at the end of September.

BYAM were delighted to be involved and sponsored a beautiful hare called ‘View of Lepus’ painted by local artist Karen Cairns.

The campaign as a whole raised an incredible amount of almost £450,000, much needed funds goes towards helping the hospices themselves.

We were so proud to support the incredible work that Havens Hospices do by sponsoring a sculpture throughout the summer of 2021 for their exciting art trail called Hares About Town.
